eco-drive is a truck driven system that constantly powers the refrigeration unit when the truck engine is running, eliminating the need for the fridge unit diesel engine to be used when the truck is on the move
Much will depend on your rig, utilisation and temperature requirements but you should be able to save between £1,500 and £2,000 annually per tractor/trailer after payment of rental for the Eco-Drive unit. You will make very significant CO2 savings too.
